First developed in the mid-1920s, Pilates was one of the first exercise systems in the West to take a holistic approach to fitness and well being. Evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates, Pilates offers a unique method of body conditioning and control which combines stretching and strengthening the muscles. Pilates is an invaluable system that works to realign and rebalance the body which helps reduce the risk of injury or strain.
The focus of Pilates based exercise is on strengthening the central core to improve control and efficiency of movement. Emphasis is on quality of movement versus quantity. By focusing on the deep stabilizing muscles of the core and shoulder girdle, Pilates helps to achieve precision in muscle control, stability, coordination, and fluidity of movement. Pilates combines the principles of science with complementary disciplines to create and innovative, effective and safe training system. Pilates is a great adjunct to a cardiovascular fitness program. Pilates may help to improve performance with daily, recreational, and sport activities. Pilates may also be beneficial in the management and rehabilitation of: -back and neck pain -soft tissue injuries -joint restriction -injury prevention -sports injuries -occupational overuse syndrome -Peri-natal care
Our Pilates Program includes Pilates Based Physical Therapy, group mat classes, as well as private and semi-private sessions utilizing a full line of Balanced Body Pilates equipment including the clinical reformer, trapeze table, combo chair, and ladder barrel. You will receive personalized instruction from our Polestar certified Pilates instructor and licensed physical therapist to meet your fitness or rehabilitation needs.

Individual rate $65 (55 min session)

Semi-Private Sessions: $35 per participant (55 min session) (2-3 participants)
10 sessions for $330 per participant (55 min each session)
